Vixi: AI Video Generator Last Updated: September 26, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Vixi: AI Video Generator (“Vixi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Vixi is developed by AptNotion. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Vixi mobile app processes, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. It applies to the Vixi app for iOS and the servers that support it.
By using Vixi, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Summary
- No account needed. Vixi does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or password to create videos.
- Credits and videos stay on the device. Credits never expire and never move to another device. Subscription credits go to the device you subscribed or last restored on (see Section 9).
- Your photos and prompts are sent to third-party AI partners (Hedra and Vidu) only to create the video you asked for. See Section 15 for the full list of third-party services.
- We ask for your permission first. Before your first photo upload or generation, the app shows a consent screen explaining this.
- We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or build a profile of you.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models.
- Generation records are deleted after 30 days. We keep them only to prevent misuse and to deliver your results.
- Your finished videos are saved in the app on your device. Save the ones you want to keep to your Photos (see Section 8).
- We use a random device identifier, not your name or Apple ID, to manage credits and to enforce our content rules.
3. Information We Process
3.1 Content you submit
When you create a video or image, Vixi processes:
- The photo or photos you select or take (for example a start frame, end frame, or reference photos for multi-photo templates)
- The text prompt you enter, or the template prompt you choose
- Generation settings such as the model, template or effect, duration, resolution and aspect ratio
This content is sent to our servers and passed to our AI processing partners to create your result. We do not store your uploaded photos on our own servers after they have been passed on for processing.
3.2 Device identifier
When the app is first opened, it creates a random identifier and stores it in your device’s secure storage (Keychain). This identifier is not your name, your Apple ID, or Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), and it cannot be used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
We use it to:
- Keep your credit balance and purchases linked to your device
- Link your generation requests to your device so results can be delivered
- Prevent abuse, and restrict devices that break our content rules (see Section 7)
3.3 Approximate location
When your device contacts our servers, we receive its IP address, as any internet service does. We use it to estimate the country and city the request comes from, which helps us understand where the app is used and detect abuse. We store only the estimated country and city. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
3.4 Purchase information
When you buy credits or a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive the transaction details Apple provides to apps, such as transaction ID, product purchased, price, currency and date, together with Apple’s signature confirming the purchase is genuine. We never receive or store your card number, billing address, or other payment details.
3.5 Generation records
For each generation we keep a limited record: the device identifier, the prompt, the model or template used, the status (for example completed, failed or rejected), timestamps, and a link to the result. These records do not include your uploaded photos. They are automatically deleted 30 days after the generation was created.
3.6 Usage and crash data
We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to collect app usage and crash information, such as which screens are used, app version, device model, operating system version and crash reports. We use it to fix bugs and improve the app, not to identify you.
3.7 Information you choose to give us
- Feedback: if you rate the app or send feedback inside it, we receive your rating, your message and any name you choose to enter.
- Access requests: if your device’s access has been restricted and you ask us to review it, we receive the email address and message you provide.
- Support emails: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
3.8 What we do not collect
We do not collect your contacts, your precise location, your Apple ID, or any account password. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information above only to:
- Create the videos and images you request
- Manage your credits, subscriptions and purchases
- Keep Vixi safe, including filtering prompts and restricting devices that misuse the app
- Respond to your feedback, access requests and support messages
- Fix crashes and improve the app
- Meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to build a user profile.
5. Your Consent
Before your first photo upload or first generation, Vixi shows a consent screen explaining that your photo and prompt will be sent to our third-party AI partners to generate your video. Nothing is uploaded or generated until you tap Agree & Continue. If you tap Not Now, no photo is uploaded and no generation is started.
If we materially change how this content is processed, we will ask for your consent again.
6. Photos of Other People
Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given you permission. When you use a feature that takes more than one photo, the app asks you to confirm that you have permission from everyone shown. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for any photo you upload.
7. Content Rules and Moderation
To keep Vixi safe, we:
- Check prompts against a list of disallowed words, both in the app and on our servers, before anything is sent to our AI partners
- May restrict a device that breaks our content rules. A restricted device can no longer create videos, and can send us a request (with an email address) to review the restriction
Sexual, nude or suggestive content, content that sexualizes minors, and content that harasses or impersonates others are not allowed.
8. How Long We Keep Information
- Uploaded photos: not stored on our servers after being passed to our AI partners for processing. Our partners keep them only as long as their own policies allow (see Section 15).
- Generation records and result links: automatically deleted 30 days after each generation was created.
- Purchase records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
- Device identifier and credit balance: kept while you use the app, so your credits are not lost.
- Feedback, access requests and support emails: kept as long as needed to respond and resolve the matter.
- Your video library: finished videos are downloaded into the app on your device. We do not have access to them unless you choose to share something with us.
Please save your videos. The in-app library exists only on your device: deleting the app or changing devices removes it, and we cannot restore it. To keep a video permanently, save it to your Photos app. Also open the app within 30 days of starting a generation, so the finished video can download before its result link is deleted.
9. Credits and Purchases
- Vixi uses credits, bought through Apple’s In-App Purchase system, to pay for generations.
- Your credit balance is kept on our servers and linked to your device identifier, so it cannot be changed without a real purchase.
- Credits never expire. This applies to credits from credit packs and from subscriptions, including after you cancel a subscription.
- Credits never move between devices. Vixi has no user accounts, so credits belong to the device that received them. They are not synced, and they are not transferred if you change phones, reset your device, or delete and reinstall the app without your device’s backup. Apple does not restore one-time (consumable) purchases.
- Credit packs: credits you buy stay on the device they were bought on.
- Subscriptions: every paid billing period adds a set number of credits (the yearly plan adds them monthly). If you don’t open the app for a while, the credits for every paid period you missed are added the next time you open it. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
- Which device receives subscription credits: an active subscription is tied to your Apple ID and works on all your devices. Its credits go to one device at a time: the device you subscribed on, or the device where you most recently tapped Restore Purchases.
- Opening the app on another device signed in to the same Apple ID does not change this.
- Tapping Restore Purchases on a new device makes it receive the credits from your next renewal onward. Credits already received stay on the device that received them.
- Each renewal’s credits are added once, to one device only.
- Payment: we never see or store your payment card details.
10. Permissions
- Photos: you pick a photo for a generation with Apple’s photo picker, which only shares the photo you choose with the app.
- Photo Library (add): to save your generated videos and images to your Photos app, only when you choose to save.
- Camera: only if you choose to take a new photo inside the app.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings. If you turn one off, the features that need it will stop working.
11. Security
Data between the app and our servers is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Your device identifier and credit information on the device are kept in Apple’s Keychain. Purchases are checked against Apple’s signature before credits are granted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
12. Your Choices and Rights
- Deleting your data: you can delete the app at any time to remove your local library. To ask us to delete the information linked to your device on our servers, email us from the address in Section 17. We may ask for details from the app so we can find the right records.
- Access and correction: you can ask what information we hold about your device, and ask us to correct it.
- Stop processing: you can stop using the generation features at any time. Nothing is sent to our AI partners unless you start a generation.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, such as data portability or the right to object. We will respond to such requests as the law requires.
13. Children’s Privacy
Vixi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. International Data Transfers
Our servers and our partners may be located outside your country. When your information is transferred, we take reasonable steps to protect it as described in this policy.
15. Third-Party Services
To run Vixi we work with the following companies. Each receives only what it needs for the purpose shown, and handles data under its own privacy policy.

16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last Updated” date above. If a change affects how your photos or prompts are shared, we will also ask for your consent again inside the app.
