Pundo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Pundo mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Pundo, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the App.
Account Information When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier (user ID) used to create and secure your account. If you sign in with Apple using “Hide My Email,” we never see your real email address. We do not require or store your real name.
Profile Information You choose a username when you sign up. This username is public and is displayed on leaderboards and in your profile so other users can see your predictions and ranking. Please do not include personal information in your username.
Prediction Data We store the score predictions you make, the points you earn, your prediction history, and your streak record. This information powers the leaderboard and your profile.
Automatically Collected Information Like most apps, our service providers (see Section 4) may collect basic technical data such as device type, app version, general usage events, and crash logs to keep the App working and improve stability.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or financial information. Pundo contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and secure your account
- Save and display your predictions, points, and streaks
- Show leaderboards and rankings
- Operate, maintain, and improve the App
- Diagnose technical issues and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
3. Match Data
Football match fixtures, scores, and results displayed in the App are sourced from a third-party public sports data provider (football-data.org). This is factual sports data and is not personal information about you. Pundo is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA or any football league, federation, or governing body.
4. Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate the App:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore Database) — stores your account, predictions, and leaderboard data, and manages secure sign-in. Firebase is operated by Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Apple Sign in with Apple — provides secure authentication. See Apple’s Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy.
These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only:
- With the service providers listed above, as needed to run the App
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Pundo, our users, or the public
Your username, predictions, points, and ranking are visible to other users by design, as this is the core social feature of the App.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and prediction data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate operational reasons.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Access or update your profile information within the App
- Delete your account by contacting us at support@aptnotion.com or using the in-app account deletion option (where available). Deleting your account removes your personal data and your entries from the leaderboard.
- Manage notifications through your device’s system settings at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@aptnotion.com.
8. Children’s Privacy
Pundo is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures, including the security infrastructure provided by Google Firebase, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Users
Your information may be stored and processed on servers located outside your country, including in regions where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer and processing.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App. Your continued use of Pundo after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
