This Privacy Policy describes how Aptnotion (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Nourix mobile application (“App”).
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Health Profile: Conditions, food sensitivities, and lifestyle notes you enter manually.
- Meal Logs: Photos or descriptions of meals you scan using the App.
- Symptom Check-ins: Personal observations you log after meals (e.g. bloated, tired).
- Goals & Challenges: Wellness objectives and habit logs you create.
- Water & Meal Timing Data: Hydration counts and meal schedule preferences you configure.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Features used, screens visited, and interaction patterns within the App.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version.
- Crash Reports: Anonymous diagnostic data to help us fix bugs.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not collect payment information. All purchases are processed by Apple and governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Deliver personalized wellness scores, insights, and pattern observations within the App.
- Sync your data across your Apple devices via iCloud (if enabled).
- Improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Respond to support inquiries if you contact us.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
On-Device Storage
All your personal data — meal scans, health profile, symptom logs, goals, and challenges — is stored locally on your device by default.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud Sync within the App, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple’s iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Export
You may export your data at any time as a PDF or JSON file from the Settings screen. Exported files are stored locally on your device and are your sole responsibility once exported.
4. Third-Party Services
Nourix uses the following third-party services:

AI meal analysis may transmit anonymized meal image or description data to a third-party AI provider for processing. This data is not linked to your identity and is not retained by the provider beyond the processing request.
5. Children’s Privacy
Nourix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Health Disclaimer
Nourix is a personal wellness journaling application. It does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnoses, or treatment recommendations of any kind. All scores, observations, and insights are based solely on your own logged data and are intended for self-reflection and habit awareness only.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data. All data stored locally on your device is protected by iOS device encryption. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.
However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data at any time via the App’s export feature (PDF or JSON).
- Delete your data by using the “Reset All Data” option in Settings, or by deleting the App from your device.
- Opt out of iCloud Sync at any time in Settings.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
