Welcome to Vixi: AI Video Generator (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This app is developed by AptNotion. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, specifically your photos and text prompts, when you use our mobile application.
2. Data Processing & AI (How We Use Your Content)
To provide AI video and image generation services, we process the content you provide.
Image Processing (Image-to-Video): When you use the “Image to Video” feature, you upload a photo from your device. This image is securely transmitted to our third-party AI partners (e.g., Hedra, Replicate) solely for the purpose of generating the requested animation.
- We do not sell your photos.
- Your photos are not used to train public AI models.
- Uploaded images are stored temporarily on the processing server and are deleted shortly after the video generation is complete.
Text Processing: The text prompts you type are sent to our AI providers to interpret your creative vision and generate the corresponding video or image.
Local Storage: The final generated videos and images, as well as your generation history, are stored locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data and File Manager. We (the developers) do not have access to your saved library unless you explicitly share it with us.
3. Permissions We Ask For
To function correctly, Vixi requires the following permissions:
- Photo Library (Read/Write):
- Read: Required to allow you to select and upload a “Start Frame” or “End Frame” image for video generation.
- Write: Required to save your AI-generated videos and images directly to your device’s Photos app/Gallery.
- Camera: Required if you choose to take a new photo directly within the app to use as a base for AI generation.
- Internet Access: Required to communicate with the AI engines and verify your credit balance.
- Notifications: Required to notify you when your background video generation is complete (if applicable).
4. Data Collection
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, or phone number.
- User Content: As mentioned in Section 2, your uploaded images and text prompts are processed ephemerally to provide the service.
- Usage Data: We use third-party tools (like Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) to collect anonymous usage data. This helps us identify crashes, fix bugs, and understand which features are most popular. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
5. In-App Purchases & Credits
Vixi uses a Credit System facilitated by Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
- Payment Processing: We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or financial information. All transactions are handled securely by Apple via the App Store.
- Credits: Information about your current credit balance is stored locally and synced via your device’s secure storage.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Service allows the generation of visual content and is rated for users aged 12+ (or as determined by App Store ratings). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
